Did you know that the table height on your LEF-12 can be adjusted while printing? Here’s how.
Increase the Productivity of your LEF-12 with Custom Fixtures
If you really want to maximize the productivity of your LEF-12, there’s no better way than creating custom fixtures to hold multiple objects on the table. Such fixtures help prevent common mistakes by dramatically reducing the time required to load multiple print objects on the table.
Switch Profiles to Save Specialty Ink
You may ask, “How much metallic silver and white ink is consumed in maintenance on a VS series printer/cutter if not printing with either spot color?” The answer is: “Not as much as you might think”.

We came across some fun images and info on truck graphics. In our opinion, when it comes to digital graphics that move at 60 mph, you’ve got it right when the picture tells the story. Include a little branding and eliminate the words and they’ll “get the picture.” Advertising on the side of a truck can be really powerful. Here are some facts and figures about moving billboards.
Ideas to differentiate your business
Hello, and welcome to 2012! I got a simple email that really got me thinking more about how sign companies can focus on differentiating from the competition. Below is the question, and my response.
We’re here to help
I had breakfast with Jack, one of Roland’s service managers this morning. We do this occasionally when he is in town from his home base of Wisconsin, and since greasy spoons are in pretty short supply here in southern Orange County, we always seem to wind up at The Snooty Fox. If you’re ever visiting us for training or a demo, I recommend it.

Custom Roland VP-540 printed automobile tire insert POS signs
We rarely have dull days around the sign shop, and yesterday we received a request for a long time satisfied customer at the local Chevrolet dealership. He needed to advertise four sizes of tires, with a “Good”, “Better”, and “Best” option. These tires would be on display in the service drive area of the dealership. I was presented with the necessary copy and was told to “get busy-we need these before closing time today”. Ok, deadlines can be met….so back to work I go!
Stickers-on-the-Go… Everybody’s Doing It
Stickers. Decals. Lettering. It’s not something that an average person ponders on a regular basis, but if we had a means, I bet we’d all use custom stickers quite regularly. This thought occurred to me as I was looking through our list of owners for the STIKA portable vinyl cutters. What an assortment of small businesses, large businesses, schools and just regular people. The STIKA is being used for custom decals, t-shirt deco, personalized gifts, bakeries, realty signage and so much more.
